I spoke too soon
Published by Jen Star on May 03, 2005 at 8:31 a.m.Ah, the Monday night TV dead zone. Hours of spare time and not a thing to watch. Why, oh why can't someone schedule one of my Tuesday shows that night? It really is a struggle to catch The Amazing Race, Scrubs and Veronica Mars when they all air at 9 p.m. And thanks to the wonders of technology, for the past two weeks my ReplayTV has spazzed while taping TAR, so I've had to skip reading my favourite entertainment news sites while waiting for the Sunday night repeat on Outdoor Life.
But I digress.
I started talking about Monday night, because the lack of shows gave me a chance to watch the Family Guy's premiere again. I must have been distracted or something, because there were some funny, funny moments. The evil monkey, the perverted old man, and the slippery deaf guy! Killer! And how could I have ignored the Stewie-as-mommy moments? "Did I remember to turn the oven off? . . . Yes."
