That's better

How reassuring was last night's Veronica Mars? Very, very, very. Logan attacks his lame-o ex-BFF—not because he's back with Veronica (because I think Logan knew the limitations of his relationship from the get-go)—but because Duncan abandoned him when he needed him the most. Remember, Logan dropped Veronica and stuck by Duncan after Lilly died and people thought Duncan's dad did it. Duncan should have been able to see past his anger at Logan and returned the favour.

It was also great to see Alicia (and to discover that she, too, has a secret), and Aaron! Yay to season-to-season continuity!

And the mystery finally starts to be compelling. My neighbour C and I were delighted to place the corpse as the candle guy from the previews, after spending 10 extra minutes last week trying to see if the bus driver had hair. (He did.) And to watch Big Dick freaking out about Cassidy hiring a PI was delightful. Dare I say that he's the hotter, younger version of Kyle Secor? I hope he's coming back.

I also hope that Charisma is arrested, so that the poor girl can finally do a scene with some clothes on. Sheesh!
