Hoisted by my own petard!

You know how people misuse the word irony? Well, I'm really not sure I'm using this title correctly, either. I'm just really enamoured with Shakespeare right at this moment (I've been copywriting at work today).

I bought MaryJanice Davidson's Undead and Unreturnable at chapters.ca last week. In an effort to get over the $39/free shipping hump, I also bought Mediaeval Baebes' Mirabilis CD that I've been digging on for months. Well, lo and behold, Undead turns up missing, so that part of the order's been cancelled. So now I'm out $20 and I have to get to $39 again to purchase the book.

They should totally honour the free shipping for something like this. Damned Canadian companies. Next time I'm going with Amazon.

I'm listening to: Brendan Benson. Apparently, he's from Detroit. Who knew?
