Now that I'm done ranting. . . .
Published by Jen Star on May 22, 2005 at 9:30 a.m.- Canadians without digital cable will finally get the chance to see Veronica Mars Thursday nights at 8 on CTV, after it premieres Monday, May 30 at 9. Woot! Woot!
- Speaking of Mars, that Garbage single Bad Boyfriend is not as good in its entirety as it was on the show. Maybe I just need to picture Logan while I listen to it.
- I'm finally reading something! In honour of May Two-Four (spelled phoenietically in case anyone not from Ontario ever stumbles on this blog) and the first unofficial long weekend of summer, I bought two chicklit books on Friday: Last Chance Saloon, by Marian Keyes and Cross My Heart and Hope to Die, by Claire Calman. I've never read Marian Keyes, but I think my chicklit friend really likes her. I'm reading this right now, and it's not bad. Not knocking my socks off yet, but I'm not too far in. I've read two Claire Calman books, I Like It Like That and Love is a Four-Letter Word. Wasn't thrilled with the former; loved, loved loved the latter. This one will decide whether the books are Indigo-purchases, or second-hand finds.
